At MetaSport, we believe in celebrating the unsung heroes who make our events possible—the dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and energy to ensure everything runs smoothly. Their hard work and commitment behind the scenes often go unnoticed, but their impact is truly invaluable.
Shining the Spotlight
Today, we want to give a special shout-out to a few exceptional volunteers who have gone above and beyond to support our events:
Team Nila – the sport volunteers from Team Nila provide outstanding expertise, support and enthusiasm to our events. A big shout out to Team Nila volunteer leaders Lim Hwee Leng, Haniza, Ong Zheng, David Lawe, Mac Chen, Keh Eng Song, Tan Poh Sim, Low Shao Ling, Jason Wong, Hameiza, Nancy Loo and Rebecca Lum who were assigned as team leaders at our recent Singapore T100 event. They had the important responsibility of ensuring that the volunteers received proper instructions, regular breaks, and food and drinks to keep their morale high throughout the weekend.
Hwee Leng, the RKC Team Leader: She has been instrumental as the Team Nila leader of our Race Kit Collection (RKC) team. Her organisational skills, patience, and dedication have played a crucial role in ensuring that race participants receive their race kits efficiently and with a smile. Thanks to her efforts, the RKC process was seamless, which contributed towards an enjoyable experience for all participants.
Ishaan the photographer: Ishaan reached out to us earlier this year expressing his interest in joining our Team Nila content production team as a photographer. Despite his young age, Ishaan’s portfolio speaks volumes about his talent. His ability to snap action shots during races and capture candid moments of joy and triumph within the sport of triathlon.
