24 Jul Angel Tree Run 2024 – A Festivity for Everyone
MetaSport is proud to be the event organiser of the Angel Tree Run 2024 for a second year. The Angel Tree Run not only aims to promote bonding within our community but also supports a meaningful cause, with proceeds going to Seventy Times Seven (70×7), an initiative and IPC fund of Prison Fellowship Singapore (PFS) Limited. Funds raised will support prisoners and ex-offenders and their families in Singapore as they reintegrate into the community. We believe in giving back and making a positive impact, and this charity run is a perfect opportunity to do just that.
The run is more than just a competitive race; it’s a festivity for everyone and there’s something for participants of all ages and fitness levels to enjoy.
Interactive and unique fun elements on the course promised an unforgettable race experience. Runners reached for the “Star” mascots in the 5KM run and decorated the “Star backdrop” at the finish line. Others looked for the “Angels” during the 2KM walk and collected special bookmarks as a memento of the event. The Wheel of Fortitude at the festival area offered opportunities for runners and spectators to challenge themselves. We had not forgotten the young ones. They demonstrated their speed at the scooter race specially designed for them. It was a day filled with excitement, laughter, and community spirit!
