28 Feb MetaSport Takes the Lead: Organising the SGX Bull Charge Charity Run 2023
The common denominator to all the events that our company, MetaSport, organises, whether it’s a running, triathlon, or cycling event, is the vibrant and festive atmosphere that characterises each one. The recent SGX Cares Bull Charge Charity Run lived up to this spirit.
We were honoured to be part of such a commendable initiative. SGX Cares Bull Charge Charity Run stands out as the only corporate charity run that unites the financial and corporate communities to raise funds for underprivileged children, families, persons with disabilities, and the elderly. The year long fundraising initiative raised an impressive $2.5 million, a testament to the generous support from SGX sponsors, partners, families, and friends, all rallying for a common cause, creating a positive change together.
Our team, entrusted with conceptualising the event, envisioned the 2023 edition of the SGX Cares Bull Charge Charity Run as a platform fostering positive energy, connectivity and emotional engagement. The event allowed colleagues to interact in an informal setting, clients to connect on a new level in a fun and light-hearted environment, and families to join in on the festivities.
The new event venue at the Marina Barrage complemented the celebratory atmosphere perfectly. The course, designed to guide runners to the start line via the stunning lawn of the barrage roof with its breathtaking sunset view of the city, added to the overall experience and excitement. The scenic route through the beautiful Gardens By The Bay contributed to the festive spirit, fostering individual adrenaline rushes and social bonding throughout the run course and back to the finish line.
Upon their return to the venue, runners, dressed in vibrant pink and blue event t-shirts, were greeted by a kaleidoscope of colours and, festival area buzzed with energy throughout the evening.
It was an immensely successful and unique evening of sport, fun, and philanthropy. Every company should partake in such an event, fostering camaraderie among employees as well as a fun run while contributing to a greater cause.
